For everything you did
For your love and understanding
For me your special kid

You set a good example
Taught me to be strong
You were always there for me
To teach me right from wrong

You’re the one, who taught me
How to work and how to play
For this I am so grateful
Each and every day

You taught me not to question
Things that were Gods will
I find this very hard to do
‘Cos I wish I was here still

I know that you are proud of me
You always told me so
And I love and am so proud of you
Although I’m sure you know

One day we’ll meet again Dad
I know that this is true
But I’m sorry that God called me home
That we’re not still together we two

i hope you don,t mind?

My name is maria and i chanced upon your memorial, i too have kidney problems and am starting dyalisis within the next few week,s, i know the pain of losing someone you love,my sister died 36yrs ago this year she was 14yrs she had an underlaying heart condition brought on by menigitis at the age of 3 month,s,now it,s my turn to fight but i know whatever happen,s i,ll see her once again until then please accept my sincere condolences for your loss godbless you Alan and sleep tight until you have to guide your loved ones home again

Best Friends......

Whats the world without a best friend? I wish I had the answer, Ive asked myself this question everyday for the last four years and i still dont know. Four years ago today alan (my best friend, my hero, the one i always looked up too) you were taken from us. Why? we dont have that answer either. The world works in mysterious ways. Not a day goes by i dont think of you and wonder... What if? Whenever im feeling down or just need some reassurance you're the first person i think of and i think what would alan say? what would he do? would he approve? Nobody can ever replace you and the days dont any easier without you.It was my uncles funeral yesterday and we layed him to rest with you in the garden of remeberance, from the otherside of the garden i could hear your wind chimes and i know that was you just letting me know that your were there for me at that difficult time. Know that wherever you are, whoever youre with and whatever youre doing youre always in my heart and ill always have a piece of you with me.

We'll only remember the good things
Like the day when our baby was born.
How he filled all our lives with such pleasure,
Never knowing that now we would mourn.

We'll only remember the good days,
Like the day when he ran to our arms
And he flashed his big smile so endearing
And displayed his unique baby charms.

We'll only remember the good things
Like the presents he wrapped with his love
And presented his heart to his parents
Like a gift straight from heaven above.

We'll only remember the fun times
When our family would gather as one,
And our laughter would fill all our household
At the antics of him, our dear Son.

So today though we mourn at his passing
And we wipe sorrow's tears from our eyes,
We'll remember this Son whom God gave us
And brought so much joy to our lives.

Happy Birthday Babe!!!

Cant believe its that time again!! Happy Birthday, i hope that wherever you are that your happy and enjoying your day. It doesnt get any easier and it breaks my heart that youre here! Went to tesco today and got your favourite chocolate eclairs i even had one even though i dont like them!!! And i know that in a way you sent me there coz you knew tesco had creme egg easters with the cup!!! which i had whined id wanted for ages!!!
Hope you have enjoyed your day and your looking after yourself.
